  • COVID Updates

  • Will I need a visa to travel to the EU after Brexit, and how do I apply?

If you're planning on travelling to somewhere in the EU from November 2023 onwards, even if

you're booking your holiday in advance, you'll need to make sure that you have applied for an

ETIAS Visa waiver. This is not a visa, but rather an electronic travel permit to help improve security.

Here is a link to the website https://www.etias.info/

Once you've got your ETIAS visa waiver, this will be valid for 3 years, and you'll be able to travel as many times as you like during that 3-year period. After that, you'll need to renew your visa waiver.

  • My passport is due to expire soon - can I still travel?

We recommend checking the passport requirements for your specific destination to make sure you're all set. This can be found at https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice

    https://www.gov.uk/browse/abroad/passports

Since the UK left the European Union, the rules for anyone travelling to Europe from the UK have changed to the following:

    • Your passport must have been issued within the last 10 years.
    • Your passport must have at least 6 months of validity on it after the date you intend to leave the country you're visiting.
    • It is always best to check the government website of where they are travelling to be certain of the requirements
