Simon co-owner and accounts principal at Everbuds Travel Ltd.

Simon has always been amazed at his wife's knowledge and commitment to her work as a travel agent/consultant. Even when she became very ill a number of years ago, she maintained her wish to start her own travel business. Then, it was just a dream, but they promised themselves that if she continued to improve, they would make that dream a reality.

After many operations and a great improvement in her health, they began that dream just over a year ago.

So a little bit about Simon..

He was born in West Yorkshire but moved with his parents at 18 months old to rural Somerset. What a beautiful area to live in, he feels lucky to be able to leave the door and walk in the countryside.

After leaving school he took an apprenticeship as a vehicle mechanic, passing the exams a few years later.

His Godfather was a Firefighter, and from a very young age, that was his dream, to become a Firefighter.

At age 18 he fulfilled his dream and became a Firefighter with the then-Somerset Fire Brigade. After 30 years and rising to the rank of sub officer. He retired from the fire service in 2011. An amazing, 30 fulfilling years.

He struggled to find employment that gave him the same fulfilment that he had enjoyed previously until 5 years ago when he became a Site Manager at a large junior school. He loved it.

Then Everbuds Travel was born. Steph hit the floor running! Within months, it was decided that they needed to work on it together.

With Steph's vast knowledge, understanding and commitment to providing the perfect solution for each client. With Simon behind the scenes, managing the accounts and walking our two chocolate labradors, they make a great team.

As they move forward and more people want to become part of that team, it becomes really exciting for him to see Everbuds grow.

I was introduced to Steph by one of her existing clients as I was looking to take my young family to Dubai. The deal she got us was impressive but it was the attention to detail, understanding of what we needed with the kids, but also going above and beyond what I would expect of a travel agent during the holidays that really made her stand out. She was always on hand to deal with the little things from check in to speaking to hotel management if needed.
In my role as a Senior Vice President at a leading sports management company, to have a trusted travel agent working with high net worth and famous clients with their families is an important part of the services we offer. Steph evolved to not only doing all my personal travel but she is now very much a part of the team at work.
I have had no hesitation in recommending Steph to family and friends and work connections. They may think they get good service already but it won’t touch what they would get if they used Steph! Thanks for all the hard work and I hope many more people get to enjoy the same treatment.

After having a chat with Steph and choosing to visit Thailand I gave my dates and she worked her magic and found 2 lovely hotels with to my surprise included breakfast.
The flights were direct and I was so happy with the price.
A lot cheaper than what was advertised on other sites on line .
The hotels were fab and family friendly, great locations and flight times were good.
